About Southern African Academy of Pharmacy
The Southern African Academy of Pharmacy (SAAP) is a registered Community Interest Company launched in 2021 that harnesses pharmaceutical science intellect of its members for the healthcare benefit of the community.
Our objectives

To increase collaboration in pharmacy research and technology transfer between institutions of higher learning and commerce in Southern Africa

To leverage the diaspora resource pool to facilitate knowledge transfer

To seek, facilitate and offer scholarships, study awards and other grants.

To represent, express and give effect to the views and opinions of its members.

To maintain a high code of ethical and professional conduct amongst its members.

To increase capital investment (local and foreign) in pharmaceutical research and development

To support and finance educational activities, as well as enhance and improve the general health awareness, and understanding of the public.
